Day 1 – Home Cities to Edmonton, AB
Depart Regina, travel north via Saskatoon meeting travelling companions enroute, and fly-in guests in Edmonton for the first night.
Day 2 – Edmonton to Prince George, BC
Today, cross the British Columbia border and view Mount Robson, which has the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. Continue along to Prince George enjoying the beautiful scenery.
Day 3 – Prince George to Terrace, BC
As you continue westward following the beautiful rivers and valleys of northern British Columbia. This afternoon, stop to visit the Ksan Historical Village and Museum in Hazelton where the village of Gitanmaax had existed for centuries. The cultural centre is dedicated to illustrating the richness of Gitxsan culture and history.
Day 4 – Terrace to Prince Rupert, BC
Prince Rupert is where Canada’s Wilderness Begins. You will tour the North Pacific Cannery Village Museum. It is the most complete cannery that remains in these remote villages and is also a National Historic Site.
Day 5 – Prince Rupert to Daajing Giids
Board BC Ferries this morning for a day of sailing to the Haida Gwaii. The Haida have called these islands home for over 10,000 years. Sail across the Hecate Strait to Skidegate and Daajing Giids where you spend the next 4 nights.
Day 6 – Daajing Giids
Begin the day with a visit to the Haida Heritage Centre, a stunning cedar complex featuring five monumental longhouses. The Greeting House offers spectacular views of totem poles, the ocean, and surrounding islands. Enjoy a picnic lunch at Jungle Beach is included before exploring the beach at low tide. Haida Gwaii’s tides reveal a fascinating world of marine life along the shores. This evening, enjoy a traditional Haida Feast—a memorable cultural experience.

Day 7 – Daajing Giids
Visit the Crystal Cabin Gallery to learn about local artists and their work, then explore the Port Clements Museum, which showcases Haida Gwaii’s fascinating pioneer history. On your return to Skidegate, stop at Balance Rock, a striking glacial erratic perched on the shoreline — a perfect photo opportunity. Enjoy a free afternoon and evening to relax or explore at your own pace.
Day 8 – Daajing Giids
This morning, walk along the Golden Spruce Trail, where some trees are over 500 years old, followed by a picnic lunch. This afternoon we venture to Naikoon Provincial Park, located at the north end of Graham Island. Discover sandy beaches, rolling dunes, rocky cliffs, tidal pools, and lush west coast flora. Take a short walk to the Blow Hole and meander along Agate Beach and North Beach.
Day 9 – Daajing Giids to Terrace
Depart the Haida Gwaii via BC Ferries, arriving back in Terrace for the night.
Day 10 – Terrace to Prince George
Today is a leisurely day of travel as you travel along Highway 16. Upon arriving in Prince George, a visit to the Central BC Railway & Forest Museum is on the agenda. It is home to many locomotives, rolling stock and heritage buildings that were used in rail lines that pass through or are connected to central BC. These include: the Grand Trunk Pacific Railway, Canadian National Railway, Pacific Great Eastern Railway and BC Rail.
Day 11 – Prince George to Edmonton, AB
Crossing back into Alberta, arriving in Edmonton for the night. This evening, join your Tour Director, Driver, and newfound friends at our WestWorld Tours Farewell Dinner.
Day 12 – Edmonton to Home Cities
Say goodbye to your fellow travellers this morning as the coach departs Edmonton for Regina, via Saskatoon with drop offs along the way.
Fly-in travellers depart at your leisure.
